The wine has an attractive deep ruby colour. On the nose, you'll find a spicy bouquet with a core of dark stewed fruit complemented by hints of chocolate.

The palate is rich and chewy, featuring intense black pepper spice, with notes of dark cherry and blackcurrant, along with a touch of vanilla. It is well-balanced, with lively acidity and a tight tannic structure. The experience culminates in a long, mineral finish.

What is Egri Bikavér?

Egri Bikavér, famously known as "Bull’s Blood of Eger," is Hungary’s most and a symbol of the country’s winemaking heritage.

Produced exclusively in the Eger wine region of northern Hungary, Egri Bikavér is a meticulously crafted blend that must include at least three grape varieties, with the native (Blaufränkisch) forming the backbone, complemented by both indigenous and international grapes.

Recognized under the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), it is often compared to Bordeaux blends but possesses a uniquely Hungarian identity, delivering a dynamic yet refined expression that appeals to red wine lovers and connoisseurs alike.
